Braun SE7280 Silk-Epil Xpressive Epilator
I have used epilators for years, and this one is the least painful. In fact, it is very easy on the skin. Be sure to pull your skin taut so it works more efficiently. It has multiple heads for different areas, which is nice. I didn't care about the light when I bought it, but it actually does make a difference in seeing what you're shaving. I am very pleased with this item. I do feel the retail price would be too high to pay since there are comparable epilators for much less. However, Amazon had it priced much lower which made it a great deal!
not my thing
Not quite what I imagined - I thought I would be able to deal with the pain that I read about but I couldn't. I have waxed before but not regularly and someone did it to me rather than me hurting myself. The shaver didn't work for me either - It seemed to be working great, and I loved the light. I finished shaving, got all lotioned up and went outside and then I noticed I missed lots of hair. I have very fine hair and only need to shave once every 5 days, which may be part of the issue. I may not have used this product correctly, but I've never missed that much hair with my Bic.
This hurts! A LOT!
Anybody who says this doesn't hurt is LYING! This is very painful! It does get the job done though, and my underarms have been hair free for over a month now. I used it a bit on my bikini line - KILLED - and on my underarms - also KILLED - but it's worth the pain in my opinion. I find it helps to take a deep breath before you start and just move it as quickly as you can in a circular motion. I also brave it and use the highest speed - it's quicker. I usually end up with watery/tearing eyes though! I imagine it's probably less painful on the legs. In any event, 3 mintues of ridiculous pain is well worth it for months of hair free skin!

I love this epilator!! Why didn't I get one sooner?! I have tried shaving and waxing my legs and chin, but it was awful and expensive to have done professionally. But this little epilator has left my skin in both areas BARE and SMOOTH. What about pain, you may ask? It's not so bad. But I have not tried it on underarms or anywhere else. That, I will have to see about later. By the way, the hair growth on my chin was beginning to look like a lawn and my eyesight was too "old lady" for me to keep up with plucking (even with a x15 mirror and bifocals). This little device has solved that problem. My chin is smooth and bare at last!!
Great Product
I bought this product at BB&B with a 20% coupon over 6 months ago and use it about once a week. I would be so lazy with shaving, this is a life-saver. My hair grown in really soft and never stubbly. I use it on my legs and my underarms. It doesn't hurt my legs anymore, but it is still very painful on my underarms--so I always use the Braun pre-epillation wipes. In fact, I just had to order some more from Amazon because I couldn't find them anywhere. Like I said, my hair grows in really fine and soft. Highly recommended.
